After last season’s promotion from Serie B, I had to go into the editor and promote Chievo to Serie A because in real life they remained in Serie B.

Whilst I’m in the editor all the players I’ve sold I will move to the clubs that bought them in game.

Harry Kane was bought by Manchester United. So I will put him in the Manchester United team etc.

(Guehi left last season on a free as I made a mistake in the editor. So I’ve added him back)

Jude looks decent.

With the transfer window open we go again.

Never seen any game time really. Not even a bench warmer.

So it makes sense to move him on.

Almost pulled the stop sign on this next one.

However hes falling down the pecking order.

I’ll regret that one later maybe.

That will do for now.

On to some signings of my own.

I’m looking at left back options that aint really guaranteed game time, but can come in to the fold and put i a shift.

I sign this guy with the bonus that he can play left and right on top of being willing to accept a rotational role.

Same explanation for my next signing.

Im getting crazy offers for Alisson and Ederson and its tempting to sell one of them.

This guy’s young and talented.

I’ll buy him now with the future in mind.

One guy I’ve been monitoring for a while and identified as a potential candidate for the left back position was Luca Pellegrini.

But unfortunately, his season was over before it started.

Debated playing Jude over Dembele in this game.

I gave Dembele 45 minutes and wasn’t impressed.

On came the young Englishman for his debut for Chievo and in Italy and its one he will remember for sure.

I consider Jude a risk playing him which sounds stupid. But when you’re picking over the likes of Odegaard, Dembele and Savic.

You have to accept the outcome if he has a bad game.

But so far he’s rising to the challenge.

Growing in confidence with every game.

First derby win in serie A.

Received some very good offers recently.

Bellerin has dropped off and in stats too.

He’s fallen behind Trent and Dumfries and with my new utility man.

There’s no more space for him.

Again same logic as above said.

I did have high hopes for Raya

I’m still in the market for adding to the squad and these two have crossed my mind.

Both with contracts expiring has been noted.

That makes it very tempting.

Into January

Top the league and all going well

Not much activity in the market till after it closed.

Its late into the night as I’m this and thought I was selling Kante.

Which I was happy to commit too.

But stupidly I was selling Konate, who i was happy to keep hold of for the future.

Nevermind as its a good return on my purchase.

I didn’t get Donnarumma, but I did secure the services of Messi.

Pretty productive window. Spilling out after the deadline day.

Another derby day and another win over our rivals.

With two games left and top of the league.

Inter are still in the mix.

Its gone down to the wire.

I’m hoping Inter Milan’s cup run will affect their remaining two games

Udinese could be the problem game.

I can’t help but get distracted by the headlines on Chievo’s future signing.

Seems like he’s leaving Spain on a high note.

That’s what I like to see.

But the remaining games soon become the focus again.

We matched each other by winning one of the remaining games and losing the other.

Haaland finished top goalscorer.

Just edging above Cristiano Ronaldo by a single goal.

I settled on an MC partnership of Bellingham and Fernandes.

Which was a joy to watch.

Robertson has rightly moaned about not starting.

He’s the right age where he should be getting regular football.

So I painfully allow this to go through.

Again painfully I let another good player go.

He was the reason I won so much on FIFA and definitely elevated the team to title contenders.

He was the machine in midfield.

But as we moved into CM0102 his game time particularly this season was limited as Rodri and Savic started to command places in the starting 11.

That position of DMC got halved between the three.

So I felt this was a good move to make and he will always be welcomed back and a fan favourite.

I’m sure his name will be sung on match days for years to come.

I like to have 4 strikers at any time.

With Messi incoming, I felt this was a good time to accept a bid for a player who’s hardly featured in the last two seasons.

Im still waiting for Messi to walk through the door.

And his latest award has got the club very excited.

I do have a deal up my sleeve right at the end.

Paid a pretty penny. But gives me hope that I could move a goalkeeper off the books at a price that will cover the cost of this transfer and with enough left over that would still be a profit on the original price paid for the individual getting moved on
