Season 3
I need to point something out before I kick off the season.
In the FIFA before I bought what I thought was Kurt Zouma. But I actually bought….
In my defence, they are both CB which didn’t help.
But what’s really shocking is that I completed a season and didn’t notice.
Anyway, the squad so far.
26-man squad I’d rather it were a 28-man squad when it goes into CM0102.
Worth noting Pellissier does retire at the end of the 2018 – 2019 season.
So I need to deduct him from the 26 total really and consider adding three more players to the roster to keep the planned target. With one of the signings being a striker to fill his vacant position
There are three target ideas in mind.
1) I think Bruno Fernandes either needs an understudy or someone to challenge him for the AMC spot.
2) RW as I feel I could buy better.
3) Striker needs adding. Young at that.
Also theres something missing from my team.
Lacking in South American talent.
WAIT A MINUTE
Before I go spending I notice something else is wrong ffs.
One of my right backs is now a left back?
So I may need to adjust my strategy to accommodate this mistake.
Bellerin will be my first choice, so a young understudy would be an ideal option and wouldn’t need to spend a lot on.
But still, it’s annoying.
The transfer window is now open and I’ve signed one or two already.
Benjamin Pavard
Sorted out the right back problem and with youth too. Yes, I overspent but he is a good player that I’m sure can slot into the DC position or at least I’d rather pick him over Zouma.
Next one.
Marcus Thuram
My reasoning for this sign is not to view him as a striker signing, but as a forward (ideally RW) in the future.
Next up my first South American signing and a potential understudy to Kane.
Gabriel Jesus
I’ve got rid of all the old guard and my funds are the best its ever been.
I’ve gone for some big names but I’ve failed miserably.
Bernard Silva was very close to signing and would have sorted the RW.
But it wasn’t to be.
The last day of the transfer window.
Up against the clock and I’m panicking.
This is the most money I’ve ever had and I want a big signing.
I’ve sent out two offers and both have been accepted.
1st – Cristian Pavon, nicknamed The Bulgeterrier. Don’t know too much about him but he must have a bit of fight in him. Ticks another box RW with the bonus of being South American also. But not a starter I was hoping for.
His debut was amazing though. Food for thought.
The next player
It’s the highest amount I have ever spent on one player (9m) in this build and it’s….
Really pleased about this one.
Big name in world football and AMC I wanted to challenge Bruno Fernandes.
That’s the window closed now and the season can get underway.
But not for one individual.
Its January
I’ve got no money, so whatever I do want I’m going to have to drum up the funds myself.
So I put a few players on the transfer market.
I’ve got the funds, but it left me with very little time to spend it.
I wanted to spend it all on one player, somebody who would walk straight into the team.
However, I ended up replacing the three that left with three recruits.
First off these two signings I panicked bought towards in the last few hours of the window.
I’m pleased with the Dembele one.
I’m still letting the wrong Zouma live rent-free at the club.
But I’ve already picked up a replacement for him when I do get to move him on.
And what a signing it is. He comes in already with a better overall rating than my current starting CB’s.
The season is going well in the league with the bonus of a cup run also.
However, it’s hit a bump in the semi-finals as Roma forced the game into a replay.
Kane scored in the first 10 minutes.
But new signing Bailly got handed a straight red.
From there on in it was a struggle to keep Roma away.
Took my first defeat in the league at the hands of our rivals was a painful day at the office.
Moving forward to the replay of the Coppa Italia.
Injuries hit the squad hard towards the second half of the season.
How we line up.
Takes 35 minutes of game time to go a goal ahead.
Soon after lighting strikes twice just like in the first leg we go a player down.
Half time and it’s become a boring game as my team holds on.
They’ve done enough to see out the game.
Setting up a final against Juventus.
Finished as league champions.
One more game to complete the season with the chance of adding more silverware.

Result
Got a scare in the second half as Juventus took away my 2-goal advantage. But my captain Harry Kane led by example and brought the trophy home and completed a domestic double.
Young player of the year award goes to Maddison for his fine form when called on.
Players player of the Year award goes to Bruno Fernandes.
