Before the season starts I edit the team adding the players I bought in FIFA 14

And again I start selling the dead wood to fund more signings.

I have in mind a DMC and cover for the right back position as my main target in the first transfer window.

Very pleased with N’Golo Kanté and Héctor Bellerín.

I’ll mainly use Héctor Bellerín as cover for now.

N’Golo Kanté can go straight into the team.

This will allow Bruno Fernandes to move into an AMC role, dropping Vardy to the bench???

With the change left in the funds, I took a gamble on Zouma and Maddison.

I mainly signed these two for potential future transfer pawns for extra funds and pushing more of the original guard out of the door.

By accident, after those two I noticed I can literally replace the starting 11.

So the teams covered all over the pitch. Something that was missing last season.

How we shape up going forward.

Serge Gnabry is injured. But I’m thinking when he’s back to keep him in the RAM role and move Bruno Fernandes in the middle.

January.

The league is going well and undefeated at that.

Cup-wise we made the round 16.

But that’s where it ended. In a true cm0102 champing style.

I even missed a pen.

But its that time again

It’s the January window and I’m sitting on a 4m kitty.

I’ve had my eye on one or two to complete the overall roster.

I figure buy young and cheap and sell for profit later on.

One thing that is going to be a challenge is that I can’t carry money over. So I need to be smart in what I buy and keep the shape and balance of the squad on point.

I feel like a striker and an RM will be the targets. I know I’ve bought Maddison but he’s not a striker, I’m sure that will be changed later on.

Moussa Dembélé was 2.18m

Thomas Lemar was 600k

Jarrod Bowen was 450k

I’ve still got a bit of cash.

Sold the dregs of the remaining old guard, still floating around.

Also sold my first-ever player that I bought on FIFA 14.

I bought him for 300k

I managed to squeeze in two more signings.

Sergej Milinković-Savić was 1.7m

Massive fan of Savić and with Kante bossing the team, he will be good cover for him and also do I dare play him over Rabiot????

Raya was 100k

I like to have three goalkeepers and the price was too tempting.

In the next league game, I put out a B team.

Looks decent with potential.

My three main players sort after we’re Ederson, Fernandes, Kane.

But I’m not interested in selling, but I like the numbers I’m seeing considering I paid 800k for him.

As mentioned earlier those three players had European clubs flying bids in left, right and centre in for them.

And you can see why. Their form so far is incredible.

With Kante in the team, Bruno Fernandes is thriving in the AMC role.

But we are down to the last day of the window.

I still feel that there’s one more signing I can make.

There’s 900k ish in the bank.

I approach the club asking for more money, which I think is fair given that the team is playing well.

They agree to add more funds giving me a total of 1.8m.

10hrs remaining I go all in on

Starting to notice a Leicester city vibe running through my Italian side.

But I don’t care. I was thinking about strengthening the RAM and ive been having my doubts about Gnabry.

I started with a 500k bid. But with the clock ticking I go all in and add Vardy and the deal is completed.

Ive pleased with the team I have built so far.

I immediately give Riyad Mahrez a debut in the next game against Parma.

Battered them 5-1 away. When I went 3-0 up I got a penalty awarded.

I let Kane sit it out and let Riyad Mahrez take it for a dream debut goal.

But it wasn’t to be as he hit the bar. He did make it up to Kane later with an amazing burst of pace into the box from the wing and delivered a cross for Kane to head in to complete his brace.
