The 🍕 challenge part 6

The next league challenge will be……

To make it fair, I’m using a wheel to pick the manager who will get first pick in the next wheel, which will contain two clubs they will be managing.

Wheel 1

I’ve obviously going with Galatasaray and Fenerbahce

Wheel 2

Clubs have been decided.

We jump to December.

League table

Fenerbahce team stats.

Again, for Ferguson, he is juggling a big sized squad.

Notable players

Youssef En-Nesyri has hit the ground running cup wise. However, he could do with bringing this form into league play.

Edin DĹľeko – Oldie but a goldie. Limited chances in the league, but has taken his chances well when called on. Similar to Youssef En-Nesyri, he’s a threat in cup competition.

Champions league campaign started at the qualifying round.

Unfortunately, it ended at this faze of the competition.

Entered the UEFA cup competition and comfortably coasted into the next round.

Battered the next opponent, which I thought was Greek. Turns out they play in the Cypriot First Division.

You learn something new everyday.

Familiar faces and a close call in round 3.

Alex Ferguson to meet his former employer’s.

Domestic cup draw.

Galatasaray team stats.

An okay start by on loan striker Osimhen.

Icardi kicked off late but is proving to be an asset.

Ziyech looks decent. Just like Icardi, needs more game time.

He’s not opted to bring fresh faces in, but does let Zaha go for a nice chunk of change.

Champions league campaign ended in the second leg against a very impressive and well-balanced Liverpool side.

UEFA cup followed with back to back wins against easy competition.

Until they faced Lille, we’re their run ended.

Advancing ingame till something caught my eye.

It’s the end of the road for Wenger once again.

The price of not being top, I guess. Yet still in the mix a month or two afterwards, and he took them to a domestic cup final. That’s rough.

Alex Ferguson.

A painful 90-minute winner from his former employer’s in the first leg set the tone for the second leg, we’re they eventually bowed out.

He’s top of the league with one game left to go, and it’s against Galatasaray. Who is in 2nd place, trailing 2 points behind only.

What away to end the season. If only Wenger was still the manager.

And he’s done it again and in fergie time. ⏲️

With a 90th minute goal before the whistle.

Fenerbahce are champions 🏆 🥇

Teams’ end of season stats

I would take that from a striker, a goal a game  all season. League wise, I would have wanted more.

I liked Szymanski contribution with assist and goals. Probably his main threat from midfield all season

Defenders never get the praise they deserve. So, I had to highlight this guy.

He looks a unit.

Alex Ferguson never really gave Tadic the time of day. He showed promise in the continental rounds. Just wasn’t green lite for first team involvement. Which is puzzling?

Transfer in come the end of the season.

He stuck with what he had to work with. Got to give him some credit for that.

They played each other once in the league.

And Wenger was victorious.

Alex Ferguson end of season stats

He’s running away with it now.

Will it ever be Wengers year.
